What is 211? 211is a national program that operates as a three digit number that operates similarly to 911. Once implemented, Branch County residents can dial the number from any location in the county, via land line or cell phone, and reach a local operator 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year and be connected with local information. Information available ranges from utility assistance, to learning the location and the time of the Fourth of July fireworks, to finding a location to donate used furniture.
